When you reach Santa Ana, there will be more buses coming from Baja California. Hermosillo is a nice station. The two most frequent 1st class lines are Transportes Norte de Sonora, and Estrella Blanca. One way cost should be somewhere around eighty dollars US.<p>

: anyone w/info on terminals, departures, cost?<p>I rode the TAP line from Hermosillo to Guadalajara in late july. The trip took ~22 hours with stops in Cd. Obregon, Navajoa, Los Mochis, Culiacan, and Mazatlan before arriving in GDL. Add another 3 hours for the Nogales-Hermosillo leg. The ticket cost around 630 pesos and the bus was brand new/first class with ample leg room, fully reclining seats, and 2 fairly clean restrooms. Be sure to bring a coat because the bus will leave the A/C on at night and it did get a little chilly. <p>
