3 day weekend from Austin?

I live in Austin, Tx. I want to take a bunch of British friends on a 3 day weekend in Mexico. We're going to drive to Laredo and then take busses from Nuevo Laredo to wherever. I'v done it once before and went to Saltillo for a weekend. Can anyone make another suggestion? Unfortunately, we only have 3 nights. Also, is there anywhere more interesting that we can access from Del Rio? We just want an adventure.

Sarah i live in Austin as well. I drove from austin to Monterrey for a weekend once (very fun!) and even have the name of hotel and tourbook, just shoot me an email if you get this.: I live in Austin, Tx. I'm planning to go to monterrey for labor day weekend. Planning to get down there via grey hound, however they don't have round trips. Do you know which busline I can take to go back to Austin?Thanks!
