"Trailering" Across the Border

I forgot to say that the trailer is a camper trailer w/ fully equipped gas stove, fridge, bathroom/furnace etc. etc. I will have to find a spot to store it in PV when I'm working there, but hope to use it for weekend and holiday trips in Mexico throughout the year I'll be working there.

Might suggest you leave the trailer at home. If your not going to be living in it, I would consider it a real hassle in Mexico. Holiday and
weekend travel? Lots of neat inexpensive hotels
everywhere...and dealing with Kamikaze Mexican
truckers can make that trailer look like a real
moving target. Storage for a year can be risky too. Incredible heat,salt air,critters and local
b&e artists might leave you with nothing to tow home...<p>

I'd check some trailing message boards. SM has a point, but I've also stayed at a very large trailer park (aimed at Quebec folks) in Acapulco and some groups do the Copper Canyon run. My folks go to Guaymas with a fifth wheeler, tho Guaymas hardly counts.
