Pedro,there are instructions (by the book) but they do not work for every one,every time...

to remove the icon ...remove as you have been doing & leave it empty for a while??...a length of time that seems to vary???

When you started this thread the polo collar was still there....then I saw Rolly say it was ok...

I went back to yours & it was gone ,,,empty,,, then I looked again after sparks,,,,, & the old one was back again..

the old one is still there...

Loading up a Personal Icon Image.

First, get your image ready. jpg or gif, no larger than 140 pixels wide and no larger than 15 kilobits
Know where it is stored on your computer.
Favour to all - please limit the amount of animation in your image - it is fun for you, but irritating and distracting for the rest of us.

Log in.
Click on Edit Profile
click on user profile
Half way down is the ICON section.
On the right, there is a Browse button.
Use that to locate your image.
Click on the little circle beside the Browse.
Scroll to the bottom.
Click on "Make Profile Changes"

To check:
Open the User Profile again and if the image is there - good for you!
If not, then refresh your Browser by holding down the SHIFT key and clicking on the Browser's Refresh or Reload button.
If still not, close the browser, and reopen and check.
If still not, you weren't successful and try loading it up again (unless the image was larger than described above, in which case it will have been rejected!)

To Change the image.

First you have to remove the old one.
Go into your Personal Profile.
In ICON, select the No Icon button
Scroll down and click on Make Profile Changes
Reload, refresh and check that the image is gone.
If so, then load up the new one as above!

Really Pedro .. I'll miss a lot of it and would love to do a little belly bucking around the bar someday. I just wish they'd install a rubber room in this place. I'm still wait and see what happens.

They may call me a moderator, but I am a beginner. I've never done it before. All I did was click on your newest name and noticed under your email address that the word sparks was in it. I'm not sure if that is information only I can see as a moderator or if it is something everyone can see as well.

But whatever it is I am having fun

A hockey puck...

A very long time ago when I was a student at the U of Denver, we had a great hockey team -- mostly Canadians, of course. I used to work on the broadcast crew (only radio in those days). There was a large sign in the booth where the play-by guy could see it plainly that said "Never Correct a Mistake." You can figure out what kind of mistake should not be corrected. Leave 'em wondering, "Did he really said what I thought I heard."
