Yes, we are here. This is a message board. Not a chatroom where people answer instantly.

Well, I moved here from Ft. Worth almost 16 years ago so it can be done. Approximately 5% of the people who move here last more than 3 years. You have to be ready to change everything: language, money, culture, food, friends, family, money, cars, customs, etc.

I suggest you start off reading everything at:

http://www.mexconnected.com/...ivinginmexindex.html

especially the articles on "adjusting" so as to take advantage of other peoples´experience.

Then when it comes to a businessmy advice is "Don´t!" At least not now...not easy and you need deep pockets and lots of patience--and a command of the language.

This is not lke moving to another State or city or county--the laws, customs and competition are different. Check out the link above in the "business" section. Then come back with any specific questions.

Like I said--I did it so it can be done but it is not easy--"A dream only costs one thing: EVERYTHING!"

Good luck.

DBA means "doing business as" and as such I don´t understand the question. You can have a company with one name doing business under a different name, yes--if that´s what you mean. I guess I don´t understand how that is "easier." And if you want "easy" then Mexico is not the place for it. Try to explain the question a little more and I will try to respond.
