don't understand how to use this forum.

Is there a help feature? I don't quite understand how to use this forum. I know how to read but I don't understand how to post exactly. In the thread, which "reply" do I reply to? Why are there more than one on a thread?
Also, what do the buttons below mean (I understand the bold, underline, italic ones).
And, once I'm in the post screen, how do I get back to the forum?
