Not able to send messages

I first posted this message and it came out blank on the screen. I am now trying to edit it.

Earlier I sent two messages to Jennifer each time the message came up blank, Actually the following message was on the blank screen

Unknown Tag: 'orig_msg_body' How do I know? Because she messaged me.

Sometimes when I try to post to a forum, the post either doesn't make it or a blank screen shows up. Is anyone else having this problem? If not, I get my laptop back Monday and I will see if I have the same problem on it.

I hope this makes it to the forum. Is anyone else having this problem? Or is it only me?

It happened to me once, a few days ago. I wrote a long and kinda complicated post, hit 'post reply', and it came up blank. I've noticed quite a few blank posts on the forums lately, too. I suspect the posters are experiencing the same problem. It started after the change to the new format.

I've also written several replies lately and when I hit either "Preview Post" or "Check Spelling" I get an error message and my reply is wiped out, leaving me with a blank screen.

I too have lost some lengthy posts in the past. Sometimes it was my own fault, sometimes it was just the computer goblins. Sometime ago, I started writing my posts, and replies using my word processor. When finished, I copy and paste them in Mexconnect. A couple of months ago that saved me a lot of grief when there were a few problems with posting to the forums. If my post doesn’t copy, I still have it and can try again. After it copies to the forums, I delete it from my word processor.

I use Microsoft Word, but Microsoft Works, or any other word processing program should work as well. I also have a pretty good spell checker using Word. I use Word for all but my very shortest posts now.

Maybe this suggestion will help, maybe not. It works for me.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

I am forwarding this to Goassamer Threads to look into.

In the interim, try changing the editor you use to the basic editor (use either your edit profile or the "Switch to Basic Editor" button below. If that helps - please post here.
