Does anyone have information on hotels on the Mexician side of the boarder at Laredo, McAllen and Brownsville. Also directions to them as we cross the boarder from the US. Having made up my mind from which boarder to cross this time. Heading to Monterrey.

South of the Laredo border crossing, and on the toll-road highway 85 towards Monterrey, you will come to the El Rancho tourist stop. They have a great restaurant and, I am pretty sure, a new motel on the premises. Someone else here on the message board will hopefully confirm or correct my recollection.
