How to change my icon?

Can't Post | Private Reply
I just tried an icon, and it seemed to work. However, then I decided that I wanted to try another icon, and it seems to refuse to change my icon. Any ideas?

Changing the icon is not very intutive. You must remove the old image before you can install a new one.

1. On the edit profile | user profile page, select icon - none, then save the changes. That puts you back outside the change page, so...

2. Reopen the page: attach your new image: then save the changes.

3. Go back again, hit the refresh button on your browser, and there should be your new image.

Thanks Rolly.

Mysteriously, today, without me apparently doing anything, the new icon is up and looks good. It even showed the new icon on my old messages. Computers are mysterious.

Trying to get your web site to work but nothing ... don't know if it's the moon, your ISP or a mis-type.

Usually you can just upload a new ICON .. but computer variables sometimes insert themselves.

Thanks from me as well, Rolly. I was having a similar issue, and all the head scratching was doing no good.
