Whenever a response is posted to a Thread, that thread is bumped to the top.
Thus, in your situation, although the date of your posting is later than the thread appearing above you, that thread has a reply which was made after your posting.
This way, a reply to a posting on page 10 doesn't get lost.
The most recent postings are always on top.
