Error Message

Can't Post | Private Reply

I'm attaching a Word document (screen print) that shows the message I got when I sent a private reply to a post. (That worked okay until I tried to attached a small inline photo.) I tried it twice and both time the attached message. 'Not a huge deal, but 'have a quick explanation?

It is possible that the recipient has the private reply function turned off.

I had no trouble sending the message. It was only when I tried to include an in-line photo (only 72 dpi) that I got the error message.

Now I understand!
Within the Private messaging system the only way an image can be included is as an attachment! The in-line (which requires uploading the image to the mexconnect server) attachment is not operative and won't be. Huge potential for server over-load!

I suspected something like that. I had never noticed that in-line option when sending an attachment with a post so I just decided to try it. Now I know not to in a private message. Thanks again!
