still need help

hi all,

I really need some advice from people living in guadalajara and/or anyone teaching at university or tech de monterey... Im teaching in japan now and was planning on going to GUAD in june to study spanish at the University of Guadalajara for a couple months(having studied spanish in highschool and forgotten all) and at the same time look for a job. The problem is my wonderful family decided to have a reunion at the end of july. if i leave go to mexico and leave at the end of july for a week, will that cause lots of problems as far as getting a job at a university. Im really hoping to get into tech de montery as i hear nothing but good things about them, but am open to other universities also. Any advice on the job market would be greatly appreciated. Also i could use some info on living in guadalajara as far as what is a good salary, an ok apartment cost, and other things newbies need to know.....

Thanks for the help,

michael

The fall semester will start in August (I taught at Tec in Leon, Gto.). If you get offered a job you should have no problem leaving Mexico in July and returning before your class/classes start in August. You will not be hired unless you appear in person, with all your creditials APOSTILLED!!
