question about google translator toolkit?

I was watching the Google video, After you upload the document they mention that the document is translated. It goes on to say that you can edit the document by searching previous translations that were uploaded by others by doing a search.

During reading about filing for an FM3 someone mentioned that they used the Google translator to translate there bank accounts.

My question is if you upload it and it can be viewed by others if they do a search then it is not secure.
Your bank info stays in the Google data base, meaning someone could come upon it. Is there a way to have it removed or stop others from viewing it?

Is it possible to cut and paste the relevant parts and leave out the personal data--name, number, etc?

Don't count on your INM office accepting a home made translation.
Generally the rule is: If it doesn't come from the bank in Spanish,
you must use a translator (person) approved by the INM office.

Rolly:

A clarification question? Let's say a US based bank, such as B of A who does offer services in Spanish - would a Spanish print-out of ones bank account pass muster?

Yes. I bank with Bananex USA. Their monthly statements are bi-lingual, i.e. English and Spanish. That works nicelky. My othr Bank is Bank of America. While they have a Spanish option for viewing your account, it prints the statements in English only.
