motor bike requirements??

ok, a US citizen moving to Mexico with a valid US license. What do I need to do to be able to purchase in Mexico and use a motor bike(pretty much a scooter not a 'cycle) legally in Mexico. Thanks for any info.

If you drive a US plated vehicle in Mexico, you can use a USA license or a Mexican license. If you drive a Mexican plated vehicle, you should have a Mexican license -- so I was told by the driver's license officer in my town.
