i will move to colima university continue my study. i want to buy a small house, about 30-40<m2>. so, how many cash i need to pay? thanks for you! i just have cash about 10,000 dollar. not included visa. thnaks for helper again.

Housing prices in Mexico are always somewhat mysterious. Even the ads in the newspaper do not usually show prices. A real estate agent in Colima could help you, of course. I am not sure about housing prices in Colima, but in inexpensive cities such as Zacatecas, a modest house might cost around $30,000 US. Colima may be more expensive.

If you are only going as a student, I suggest that you rent a place. The university should be able to help you find a place, perhaps with a family, which would help your Spanish. After you have been there a while, you will know people and can ask around to find another place.

You did not say where you are from, but I am going to guess Asia.
