I received an e-mail from LLoyds yesterday stating that effective September first shares of Alwasa and other accounts are to be divided into 5 Classses of shares based on the amount of money invested. Below that notice it states: "The higher the amount of your investment, the higher the yield". It sounds like the smaller accounts are going to be devalued i.e. the value of your shares will drop because they will earn less, and those with larger accounts will receive higher returns and the value of their shares will rise. The monthly report for my Alwasa account earned only 2.636% for the months of August. Has anyone heard about this? Am I misunderstanding it?
