Thanks to all for your time and ideas about the FM-3 Income requirements. I've been planning a move to Mexico for many years...travelling there twice a year during this time. I only have $1500 per month in unearned income available to me for the near future....maybe I'll have to delay until social security kicks in or start looking somewhere else.... I still would like to know about the IMSS and whether they require an FM3, or whether a tourist visa will allow one to buy into the system.
