Tepic, anyone?

Can't Post | Private Reply
I would like to know if anyone on the boards has spent much time in Tepic in the state of Nayarit? Very interested in the city as a possible retirement destination. I am in contact with a couple that have lived there for 3 years. They do love their life there. I would only like to get some other opinions of the city.

Thanks, Becki

You could try the board there. http://www.members4.boardhost.com/Nayarit/

It is just not a message board, which it looks like at first glance, but if you click on pictures and living in Mexico links under the first picture you will find a lot of information. They even have a link to the newspaper that you might find interesting. You do need some Spanish though to read it or a good interpreter.

Thanks, Shoe

That is the website that I have been frequenting for about 3 years now. Cliff and Alice have been most helpful. We will visit with them when we make our exploratory trip there this spring. I was only wondering if anyone else had been to Tepic and what their take on the city was. I am trying to gather as many opinions as I can on that area. I do know that there are not but a handful of gringos living there and that the area is less expensive than some of the other more gringo-ized areas. I appreciate your reply.
