TelMex's "Pagos desde Estados Unidos" program

Can't Post |
Does anyone have experience with the "Pagos desde Estados Unidos" program that TelMex USA offers?

It supposedly enables payments for residential telephone service in Mexico to be made from the USA and Canada. But I can't get TelMex USA's website to work to get more information.

Any pointers or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Telmex has a US toll free number for the service -- (800) 811-0421. If you call them could you post a summary of what you found out and what your impressions of the service are?

At the local Telmex office here in Aguascalientes, they told me that Sprint receives payments in the U.S. for Telmex telephone bills. However, when I called Sprint, they denied that they had this service.

we used this service for a while a couple of years ago. we thought the service was terrible: no detail on bills, no way of contacting anyone except the people who wanted you to just keep sending in money, dammit. no way to get them to stop service. it is hard to believe just how shitty this service was. This outfit made ma bell look like an altruistic do-good company.
