Starbucks coffee

I have a packet of 'Kenya' Starbucks coffee. I naturally expect the coffee to have been grown in Kenya. However on the white' in Spanish' label it states that it was roasted in the USA but it also claims ' Producto de Mexico'.
Does this mean that the coffee was grown here and is not Kenyan but a 'Kenyan type'. Or perhaps a 50/50 mix of beans. Is this deceptive marketing or what?

Some tequila is brought into the US in large quantites and bottled in the US. It still has the Hecho en Mexico on the label. I think that some of the Jose Quervo products fit this category. Maybe??? its the same with some coffee?

Is there any other kind? lol

Names can mean just about anything. If one is really concerned one has to read the fine print on the labels very carefully. In your case, I'd call or email Starbucks corporate and ask them. Labels sometimes have a phone number listed for comments or questions.
