Sending special mail to the US

Can't Post | Private Reply
I would like to send some artwork, on a regular basis, to the US from Mazatlan. It would be canvases rolled up and sent in cardboard tubes. I'd like to do it as inexpensively as possible. With DHL, it'll cost me over $20USD. Using registered mail, my 6 page IRS filing cost me 54 pesos so sending a canvas is, undoubtedly, going to cost more than that. Any ideas out there?

Esteban,

I would think that you should also be concerned about using a secure method. Too often i have sent things to Mexico only for them to never arrive.

I have abandoned the idea that there is a 'safe' way to mail things 'to' Mexico... so i am not sure of 'out of Mexico'. Lately i have been relying on a friend who makes regular trips to the area i mail to. Takes a bit longer, but i am assured they are getting there.

just sharing w/ you,

Jodie

Maybe you misunderstood me, I said I was sending things TO the US FROM Mexico. I think it goes without saying that I'd prefer the things to actually be delivered to the addresses in the US.
