in response to your question about a CNC Machinist finding work---I'd go back to the search function and type in Chamber of Commerce Mexico or some like combination until you find the correct website. David has arranged for some of their info to be published on Mexconnect and they may be able to help. Just found this: www.amcham.com.mx

If Saltillo is an option Chrysler, John Deere, Kimberly-Clark and others have plants up there and I can give you the name of a guy who can get info for you but I suspect those folks hire in the U.S. and Canada and then re-assign those employees.

There are also a number of manufacturers in Guadalajara and you might be able to get a list if you contact the consulate or the American CofC there.

The problem with finding answers to your question is that most of us no longer want to think about work! :)
