Retiree or dependent working in Mexico

Does anyone know?

If a retiree decides to take a part time job in Mexico, changes his visa to a work visa, then either the company goes under, is fired, or the individual decides he doesn't like working after all, what happens to his visa?

A bit more technical visa question. A dependent under a FM2 non working visa takes a job, changes their visa and either the company goes under, is fired, or the individual decides he doesn't like working after all, what happens to his visa?

When your employment status changes, you have 30 days to notify your INM office.
If you don't have a new job, you can revert back to Rentista status.

I have never encountered the FM2 dependent question. I suggest you should talk with the INM.
