Renewal of Temporary Resident Visa

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hi all,

I have a new style Temporary Residence Visa, with permission to work. It needs renewal in December.

Does anyone have any experience of renewing the new style visa? Do I need to re-prove my financials? And most importantly, I am not working and haven't since I arrived, but want to retain the 'Permiso Para Trabajar' - if I have this status on one visa, does it automatically roll over onto the renewed one, or do I need to supply extra info / letters etc to keep it?

Thanks!

When I had the old-style FM3 with permission to work independently, at renewal time, I had to show proof that I'd paid taxes on my earnings the month previous to beginning the renewal process. However, I have no idea if that will be the case when you go to renew a RT card with permission to work. The only way to know for sure is to ask at your local INM office.
