Pellet guns

I have noticed that there are pellet guns for sale in the local Comercial Mexicana made in Mexico by Mendoza. I was wondering if anyone would know if it is legal to cross the border into Mexico with a CO2 powered pellet pistol (Crosman model 2240) made by Crosman, the US partner of Mendoza.

Good quality pellet guns are indeed easily available everywhere in Mexico. So why try to import one?? Seems the best thing to do is wait and buy a good one when you get here. My teenagers have always bought them locally with no problems.
