Name some towns. Few gringos & less expensive.

Please name some of the towns or areas within a certain town where the living expenses would be quite a bit less then if one was living in a beach town or one where a lot of gringo's lived. I really don't want to live in a shack back in the hills but, I sure don't need beaches, night life or big crowd of 'well to do' gringo's around me every day in order to be happy.

Millions (literally) of Mexicans live on less $1,000 US per month in every part of the country. Only an extended visit to Mexico will tell you if that's for you. There's a great deal written on this web site about various regions of the country. No doubt one or two will be appealing. Or you could throw a dart at the map!
