Moving to Valle de Bravo

Can't Post |
I just came back from 2 weeks in Valle de Bravo and Toluca. I fell in love with the people, culture and the freedom they have. My son owns a home in Valle de Bravo that he and his family, on his wife's side, use several months out of the year. Her family have permanent residences in Toluca. I receive SSI
disability and am seriously considering moving there.

Anyone living in that region that could help me with information on the move and on my SSI benefits would be greatly appreciated.

I have lived in Queretaro (Centro Historico area) for 2 years & enjoyed walking to all the cultural events. The traffic is horendous so usually took a taxi to Costco, etc. Felt safe walking by myself in Centro. Have been investigating Valle de Bravo also so hope you receive info! How cold is it in winter? Sounds great - perfect for retirees!.

We will be traveling to Valle de Bravo for a wedding in October of this year. Could anyone recommend a nice unique place to stay.

Thank you very much for any help for anyone.

I am on Social Security Disability too and I do have medi-care, but Mexico does not accept that. I live in France right now and I did live in Germany 3 months ago for a year and a half and I just have my checks deposited into my Wells Fargo account and use my ATM card to get money at an ATM. I have had no problem with my not being in the States and getting my montly monies.

Good luck, I hope I helped.

Kathleen :) :) :)
