Moving from Arizona to PVR

Hola Group,

I'd like to get some names of some safe, reliable and experienced moving companies that can pick up my belongings from Arizona (Tucson), load them into their truck and deliver it to the Puerto Vallarta area. Some ideas on costs would also be helpful.

I viewed the Forum but much of the related posts were very dated.

Also if folks reading this have done the above I'd be grateful to hear some "Lessons Learned" such that I don't have to repeat them; and anything else that you can share with me such that I get it right the first time .

Mucho Gracias Amigos

I do not think you can do that, items would travel to Nogales, unloaded for customs/duties then picked up by a Mexican co. for final destination in Mexico....

Remember wooden furniture in the desert might turn into lunch for jungle termites........

There is a company that is pretty well known on the Pacific coast that does all that. They load, take care of customs and deliver to just about anywhere in Mexico. His name is Robert Hudson and you can find him at www.movingtomexicoguy.com. We didn't use him, but I know a number of expats who have and were pleased with the results.

Once you get the goods to Mx - I would guess Nogales (?).....we can highly recommend M y M ...look under mundanzas in the phone book....they might even have connections across the border. Very reasonable...good insurance, great track record! Good luck.
