Re: [Hank Duckman] Mexican vs US clothing sizes

A size 32 Mexican should convert to a size 8 American. But that's only a "should." Look carefully at the place of manufacture. And even that may not be enough, because a) the manufacturer may have been using a foreign, i.e. American or European pattern, b) the manufacturer may have shrunk the marker, and c) there still remains a great variation due to style and making the wearer feel good about wearing a small size. Below is a guide, but it's still not foolproof. Better to try on a garment or use a measuring tape. CLOTHING GUIDE, USA to Mexican sizes. - Women's Dress: 6=30, 8=32, 10=34, 12=36, 12=36, 14=38, 16=40 - Men's Shirt: 14=36, 14.5=37, 15=38, 15.5=39, 16=40, 16.5=41 - Shoe sizes: 5=3, 6=4, 7=5, 8=6, 9=7, 10=8 (Example: A size 5 shoe in the USA would equal a size 3 shoe here) www.pvconnect.com
