Looking for competent attorney in Ajijic

My U.S. mother living in Joco needs a new will drawn up and has various legal problems regarding her land and newly-constructed house.

Any recommendations? English-speaking attorney would be helpful.

Thanks for recommendations !

Can't recommend anyone in Ajijic (don't know the lawyers there), but perhaps you might want to consider using Lic. Juan Carlos Lopez Jara, the Notary in Joco. His- office is upstairs on the plaza. Tel: 763-0252 / 763-0387. We've always found him to be straightforward and reliable.

I have used Lic. Juan Carlos Lopez Jara, the Notary in Joco for several real estate transactions. I have the greatest respect for him. I learned about him from the Eager Asc Real Estate Office in Ajijic who can also give great reports.

As I recollect, his English is better than most of the English speaking Expats but not perfect. I know we did our business mostly in Spanish.( My Spanish is far from perfect)
