Are you talking about license plates or a driver's license? In either case, it's a non-issue. You can drive your car with expired foreign license plates, except in Baja. My insurance company knows my plates expired 9 years ago, and they don't care. You probably cannot register your car in México; it's almost impossible to do. Your driver's license from the USA is good in México as long as it has not expired. A México driver's license is easy to get. I always advise people living in México to get a Mexican DL in case they run into a cop who doesn't know the rules -- not uncommon. Rolly E-visit me http://Rollybrook.com On Facebook as Rolly Brook
