Information needed on moving back to USA from the Yucatan

I will be moving back to the Minnesota, USA from Playa del Carmen soon. When I came here from the USA, I brought drove my car and had my furniture moved by professionals. I have a Rentista visa and the paperwork needed to bring my car into Mexico. What paperwork do I need to brinf my small amount of furniture back to the USA? Any suggestions on moving companies? I'm open to the possibility of driving the furniture back myself to once it arrived in the at the border in the USA.

You don't need any paperwork to take your household things back to the USA. Just be sure that everything is at least 6 months old. Before I moved down here, I called US customs to see if I needed to register anything in case I should want to come back. I was told I didn't need to do a thing so long as the items I would be bringing back were at least 6 months old.I even had a little laugh with the customs guy as we contrasted moving to Mexico vs the USA. Easy to get a visa to Mexico, but a pain to move household things -- hard to get a visa to the USA, but easy to move household things.
