Importing dog medicine

Does anyone know whether a 100 gram bottle of antibiotic powder for veterinary use will pass through the aduana without a problem? Are there restrictions on importing dog meds? What I need is only sold here in Mexico in giant containers for bovine use.

Can't you go to a local vet who treats farm animals and buy a smaller dose, or see a local MD , get a prescription and buy it at a farmacia? As far as I know all antibiotics are the same for human use as for animal use.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I've asked the vets, and this is not available for humans. I'm looking for something specific.
