Hola! I have bought a "compound" of property on Isla Mujeres. It is a main two-bedroom house and a renters' house with five units and servants' quarters. So I guess I'll be a B&B owner before my company takes off. Repainting and adding hot water heaters and retiling several rooms begins on Monday. The seller assures me the main house will be ready when I return Dec.13. Here are some pictures of the compound and of me killing time before going to the abagado to sign sales and remodeling contracts! Don't I look smug!
