Home Health Care in Cuernavaca

Can't Post | Private Reply
My sweet Mexican grandmother and her American husband retired to Cuernavaca almost 30 years ago. Now at 98 (!) she is in need of more help than her housekeeper can provide. We are looking desperately for an organization/business that can help provide a nurses aid to give more consistent care for her. Hiring an individual and then managing that position from the States seems almost impossible. We are overrun by Home Health Care business here, do they exist in Mexico, Cuernavaca to be specific?

Although we live in Cuernavaca I don't have a specific answer to your question. I would suggest that you post your query on the local Yahoo Groups board, Cuernads. http://groups.yahoo.com/...uernAds/messages?o=1

You must register to use this board, it is free registration. It is mostly local people using that board so you will probably get a reply if there is such a service here. A lot of the members of this board seem to live in the nearby village of Tepotztlan, so I don't know if they will be of any help for a question about Cuernavaca. Any replies are usually sent to a poster via email.

I have gotten some good local information on that board regarding mundane things, airport transportation, visa renewals, etc.

Good luck, Rex
