Help (Again) With Inability To Access Mail Account

Can't Post | Private Reply
A fatal error has occured:

DBI->connect(gmail:localhost) failed: Access denied for user: 'mexconnect@localhost' (Using password: YES) at /home/mexconnect/mexconnected.com/perl/gmail/admin/GT/SQL/Driver.pm line 83

Please enable debugging in setup for more details.

The message above occurs when I try to "sign in". Is this problem on my end?

FIXED!

Yeah! It's good now. But when I accessed "mexconnect.com" just a few minutes ago, not one but three pop-up windows had to be erased.

David, I have no clue as to why this is happening for you!

All I can do is assure you that I do not have any such links in any part of Mexico Connect!
The cause may be a program within your machine, or a past site you went to - but those are pure guesses and not based on any reasoned intelligence (I seem to be short of that this week!)

When they open up, could you capture the URLs and send them to me?
I am very curious!

I am no computer expert. Here is what happens to me all the time. My son downloads some free (usually what he calls music) program. Many of these programs (like KAZAA) have a hidden program in them. One of the most prolific is one call *Save Now*. Once on your computer, it sees key words off any website you access (like MEXICO) and hits you with popups related to that. To check, go to My computer, control panel, add/remove programs and scroll down to see if you have Save Now installed. If so, delete it. Just a thought.
