Short answer--yes. Longer answer--you better shop around. Go to the search feature and type in IMSS to get comments and articles about the Mexican Healthcare plan. Some like it, some don't. I can't qualify so all I can go on is the experiences of friends, and all were satisfied with the treatment they received. I've had minor surgeries performed, sophisticated tests run, and consultations with GPs, specialists, and homeopaths and been satisfied with both the expertise and the personal care and attention offered. And the prices were quite reasonable. Miz T just bought a policy from a U.S. based company (NOT the one that used to be offered through LCS) that provides coverage in both the U.S. and Mexico at a rate much lower than it would have been up North. www.Medical-Hospitals.com---PV www.mediks.com---Guad www.touristmedicalassist.com---PV, Mazatlan, Los Cabos Hope this helps.
