Dental Care and Traching Jobs

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hi Everyone,

I'm planning a trip to Mazatlan asap to get some dental work (crowns and veneers) and need to contact a few dentists now. Can anyone suggest a few dentists or a directory.

Also want to contact any language schools and companies hiring English teachers. I'm getting a teaching certificate now and want to talk to potential employers.

Thanks.

P.S. My name is Win; live in Ft. Myers,FL; previously San Diego and Atlanta. Been planning to live and retire in Mexico for years; finally gonna do it.

There is a guy who published an article at the peoplesguide.com about Mazatlan who is married to a dentist there. You could read his article.

http://www.freemaz.com is the Mazatlan website which contains a forum where solid information about Mazatlan is exchange. On Yahoogroups, its competitor is MazInfo. You should be able to retrive some solid leads from both.

Thanks Jennifer. Looked at both sites; got some helpful, timely info at Radio Free Mazatlan (freemaz). Now I need to learn the cheapest way to call U.S. to Mazatlan and later from Maz to the States. Any suggestions? Win

I'm sure the cheapest way to call Mexico from the US is to buy a Mexcian calling card. If you live in a city or any area where there are Mexican immigrants go to the Mexican store and ask for a telephone calling card. If you speak Spanish or if the attendent speaks English you can ask which are the best. Expect to get in the range of 45 minutes for $5. Different brands have different times and features. If you want to make a number of short calls less than the number of minutes on the card check for features that don't penalize you by charging you a lot of minutes for a 3 minute call, or that don't depleat you time after you initiate the card. The locals know all the ins and outs.
