Any norteamericanos in Leon?

My domestic partner and I recently bought a house in Leon, where his family lives. We will be retiring there in about 5 yrs, but take trips there about every 6 months. Are there any Americans/Canadians living there? In the few times I have been there, I have not come across a one. Nor has the family ever heard of any anglos living there. I know its not a high traffic tourist town, but it does have over 1 million people living there. The law of averages would dictate that there be at least a few. Anyone out there in Leon?

We (mi pareja y yo) lived in Leon for 4 years before moving to Irapuato 6 years ago. We moved to Mexico from Pennsylvania. There are some gringos in Leon but they are mostly married to Mexicans and disappear into the Mexican family life. Write me if you want more info or have any questions.

There is lots of trade in Leon. If you know someone who is into leather craft or Lady's hand bags, let me know. I need someone who can coordintate on that end.

I have a brother in law who owns a tannery, he probably knows people, need more specifics though
