A nice auto insurance surprise

Can't Post | Private Reply
For the last 8 years I have insured my truck with Seguros ING through their local agent who is a friend.

This week when I renewed for another year, the policy was written by AXA which had bought ING's México operation. The surprise was an additional policy for coverage in the USA which was included at no extra cost. An insurance company giving away something... now, that is an uncommon event.

I have never had to call upon my insurance company, but a friend of mind did. He was insured with ING when he was involved in a wreck that smashed his windshield. The repair shop arranged by ING did a sloppy job. My friend appealed to ING, and they arranged for a different shop to redo the repair. It went well, and my friend was satisfied with the repair and with the insurance company.

I hope others will join in this conversation, sharing happy and unhappy insurance experiences.

"additional policy for coverage in the USA which was included at no extra cost"

Do either of the companies that offer this free USA coverage have an online outlet that I can purchase it from?

Thanks!

Todd
