I was hoping Rolly or someone could give me some advice or tell me how to go about having smokeless tobacco (snuff) sent to me in Mexico. What is the legal limit? Will UPS or FEDEX deliver it to me or does anyone know where I can buy it in the Guadalajara area? There is American Cigarettes here but I cannot find snuff. There is a store in Ajijic that sells it but it is 100 pesos a can.

Sanborns carries it, it is expensive but cheaper than thinking about shipping. Seems Skoal has pulled out of Mexico a year or so ago.

You can bring in a certain amount with you but you cannot have any tobacco products delivered in Mexico. I know, I've tried. If you know anyone coming across the border, have some delivered to them so they can bring it. Supposedly they can bring about 10 cans but if they break up the packages, they might be able to get more through. Order online and it's cheaper online anyway. You pay a fortune for smokeless tobacco here because the import fees are so high.
