It seems that older women are being targeted. Mexican and gringa. More in the Central highlands board about a gringa in SMA. Certainly making me rethink retiring in Mexico.

These murders happened last August. Yes, they were terrible events, but as far as I know they are not on-going.

Seniors men and women are targets all over the world as they are easier targets.Nothing new there.

HUH? The newspaper article was just about the murder rate in the state of Gto. These are different murders, by different murderers involving several different motives and methods. The only thing they have in common is that the victims were female, and many were women of the "third age." It's no wonder so much nonsense is written about security here when people read into news stories things like "serial killers".
