They told me it was the oldest game around, but it was new to me: It's the mustard game. It is Sunday a couple of weeks ago; my wife and I are are in Guanajuato standing in a pharmacy next to the mercado. A guy points out there is stuff on the back of my pants. It's yellow and gross and sticky and it's also on my wife's dress. So of course we are upset...who did this and why ?... and he starts to clean me up from a convient roll of toilet paper ... and That I should clean up her. You get the picture. I clean her and he Cleans me out. I get back to the hotel and discover the facts. and I am told its the Oldest game in town. I did go back and make a police report. Shortly they even bring in a suspect; no not the right one. Losses not Great. More a loss of diginty.. what ever. We are driving so I am aware of the rear tire scam. And after years of forgien travel you always carry your wallet in your front pocket...don't you and do not be disracted by those gipsy kids? So my friends watch out for the mustard game. And I do not recommend the Hotel Real de Las Minas in Guanajuato...very noisy because its right on the highway into the centro, food so-so, very hard beds and very expensive ... but it does have easy parking if you are driving. End of the story... we departed pronto and got to Ajijic by 5 and all was suddenly wonderful. The Swan Inn was great.
