My daughter will visit me this year bringing my brand new grandson, does anyone know if there are car seat laws for infants in Mexico?

Traffic laws, including seat belts, helmets, etc. are decided by each State government.

If you are in the Ajijic area, and the timing is right, I can let you borrow car seats, booster chair, playpen bed, high chair and maybe a stroller. Send me a PM.

Thank you NEOhio for you offer, I am in Guayabitos but I visit Tonala all the time, I would not need the car seat until late Feb. If you are around at that time I will get in touch with you, Again thank you, Rick
