But you still have your old passport don't you - that can be used should more information be required of you.

Nope. It was lost or stolen. Not sure which. So, I got a new one at the embassy in D.F. My new one of course has no stamps at all on it because it was issued within Mexico and I haven't left Mexico.

the same department that issued your FMT when driving in is the one that stamps your FM3. i think its the INM OR IMN office.

regardless everyone... with the economy hurting everyone, its only a matter of time before they start imposing huge fines for not getting your FM3 stamped when you exit your country...

if you want to be the one that posts here how you got fined for not getting your exit stamp..... well .... we will wait untill that faithfull day comes along..

do yourself a favor everyone and get your stamp when you leave mexico.....
