Wondering Again

What do the letters APAG on my stove mean? I have enough trouble trying to get the thing to work and now I am wondering what that means. Clueless in the kitchen!

I thought it might be some sort of Mexican equivalent to "UL" or CSA. However a Google brought up the Autonomos People's Anarchist Group. Get out of the house right now and call the bomberos!!!!

But turn off the stove first! APAG is short for "apagar" which means "to extinguish."
