US Federal Retires. FEHB coverage

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hello out there. Are there any US Federal retires who have any knowledge whether OPM FEHB health insurance coverage is available in Mexico? We are planning on moving to Mexico, and our present FEHB coverage is outstanding. I would not like to lose my health retireement benefits. Please advise as we are almost desparate to find out any info in the matter. Thanks. Phil.

A variety of plans are offered under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. You need to review your particular plan to determine the extent of coverage. Plan handbooks are online at http://www.opm.gov/insure/health/. If there's something you don't understand in your plan handbook, ask your plan administrator.
