I arrived here last Sunday and after some adventures am getting settled in. Using the Internet cafe in Chapala and Ajijic. I will have my own DLS connection next week and will be posting a (very long) trip report which those here may find interesting.

Looking forward to meeting some of you down the line.

FYI....There will be a get together of some of the regular posters from Chapala.com and Mexconnect at Tom's bar on Constitution on Wednesday, the 21st, at 5:00 P.M. More information just down this forum and:

Can't wait to hear about your trip. I bet if everyone put their story to paper we would have quite the comedy novel. Glad you made it in one piece.

I am not far behind..I leave Naples,FL for Ajijic, the last week of July, to enjoy the new lifestyle, and people of the area..After yesterday's haircut, I'd be the Bald Eagle..Not as majestic as those flying around Gastineau Channel, outside of Juneau, but just as free...

I should have it together by then. I will try to make it. Any more directions such as landmarks? And I am working on my trip report now, I think there are some surprises for some here in it.
