I happen to be a great customer fan of Farmacias Similares. They, too, have a long list of drugs and comparison prices available in a take-home brochure on the counter of each store. The list gives several names, including the generic one(s), for each drug and price comparisons. I would bet they are less than the WalMart equivalents. We used to buy Captopril (BP medication) at our local Soriana for about $24.00 US per month (30 25-mg tablets)and thought we were getting a bargain. Then we found the same thing at "Dr. Simi's" for 25 pesos. If we buy on Mondays, we get a special discount and can buy 5 bottles for 100 pesos. I cannot recommend Farmacias Similares enough. Plus there is a real doctor on premises for basic medical problems and/or minor emergencies. FYI, "Dr. Simi" is the adorable oversized cartoon character/puppet who waves and dances in front of your local Farmacia Siimilares.
