Question for David/Tony

Does Mexconnect have or not have control over the ads that appear at the top and right hand side of the home page?

I'm somewhat surprised, and perhaps I shouldn't be, to see ads for Latin dating services suddenly appearing.

Personally, I have never seen the ads you are referring to on Mexconnect, but then the ads served by Google on Mexconnect are often driven by the geographic area you are in and the content of the page you are on etc.
To answer the question, we don't exert direct control over the ads that Google serves to our site. We do control the ads that we place on the site.

I'm using Firefox too but no Google toolbar. On the third column, under the "new columns" section is a large ad for AmoLatina.com - find your Latin woman in live chat - and on the last column under Top Ten Tags is another ad from the same source - Find your Latin Lady. There are various other ads that sometimes seem appropriate for a Mexco oriented web site although I doubt many of us are looking for travel information for Malaysia which is another ad. You're obviously missing out on the photos of charming Latinas by have Google toolbar.

Sounds like we may need to reintroduce subscriptions for all those viewing MexConnect on Firefox with a Google toolbar... just saying...
